Outbuilding Construction Project in Plouguenast,
After stormy weather in February 2016, trees were blown down and landed on the laundry room of a gite complex. Repairing this outbuilding before the next season was crucial for our customer’s business.
Work Carried Out
We started to rebuild it in early March 2016, after clearing all the debris. The wood store to the rear had to be completely rebuilt as nothing could be salvaged. The laundry room walls were structurally sound, so these could be reused. Once the walls to the wood store were build, the roof could be constructed. A new window was fitted to the rear wall of the laundry room and roof lights to the roof. The front of the wood store and a door was made of timber cladding.
Location: Plouguenast, Côtes d’Armor (22)
The project was finished ready for Easter when guests were arriving.
